Requirement 1

Work Experience

Minimum 2 years of skilled work experience in a relevant occupation (varies by stream).

  • Must be in a skilled occupation (TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3)
  • Experience can be from any country
  • Must match your nominated occupation
Requirement 2

Language Ability

Minimum language requirements based on the stream:

  • TEER 0 or 1: CLB 7 (IELTS 6.0 each)
  • TEER 2 or 3: CLB 5 (IELTS 4.0 each)
  • Tech Pilot accepts CLB 5 for most occupations
Requirement 3

Job Offer / Connection

Most streams require a valid job offer from a BC employer, while Express Entry BC doesn't require a job offer.
